The Family saga started at the end of World War II, on September 9th 1944, the liberation day of Vosne-Romanée
Suzette SIRUGUE (born BISSEY), a native of the region, coming from a family of vignerons for several generations, met François GERBET, born in The Pyrenées, and one of the liberators of the village of Vosne-Romanée.
The
family estate FRANCOIS GERBET was created back in 1946, farming
vineyards that have been in the family for more than 100 years.
