For over 100 years and across five generations, Cantine
Volpi has been at the forefront of a continuous evolution that has made it a
benchmark in the Piedmontese wine industry, an authentic expression of the
Tortona Hills region.
Cantine Volpi was founded over a hundred years ago when, in
1914, a woman, Cristina, along with her two sons who had just come of age,
bought an old tavern, “Il Cappel Verde,” in the center of Tortona, starting the
business of selling wine by the glass.
